We love impacting the lives of others through the gift of music. Over eighteen years ago, we opened a piano studio, "Happy Fingers Piano Studio,". Our students participate in various festivals and perform at recitals throughout the year.

Avis Marie Bickham is an active and formal president of the Music Teachers of Greater Baton Rouge.

Happy Fingers Piano Studio classes consist of a thirty-minute session once a week.  The cost is $80 a month for ages 5-18 and $90 a month for ages 19 and above.  There is a one-time $50 registration fee per student (Registration fee will cover 1st set of books), and it is non-refundable. 

Payment is due on the 1st of each month, and a $10 late fee will be applied after the 10th. Tuition is due regardless of attendance.  

Payments can be made by check, cash, or money orders or by using your debit/credit card. There will be a $25 fee on all returned checks.

You must give a 30-day notice before withdrawing.  If not, you will be charged for the month you missed and or the next incoming month.

Please be on time for your class.  A timer will is for each student.  The timer will start at the beginning of your assigned class time, even if the student is not present.  The timer will is for 30 minutes if you are late class will still end at the appointed time. 

If you are going to be late or absent, please call and inform me ahead of time (225) 279-0838.

Happy Finger Piano Studio Students are very busy.  Each student is asked to participate in the following activities:

Piano Solo Festival, Hymn Festival, Duet Festival, Theory Festival ($12).  Each event entry is $21 per event and it includes the fees and the cost of music.

Usually, after each event /performance, Happy Fingers Piano Studio is closed for the following week, so the teacher, student, and the parent can recuperate!
